Mstyslav Chernov is Young Talent of the Year at RTS Television Journalism Awards 2014

All the UnFrame Photographer are very excited to announce that Mstyslav Chernov has been awarded the ‘Young Talent of the Year’ at the Royal Television Society Television Journalism Awards, which recognizes creative and excellent journalism by organizations whose broadcasts are transmitted on a UK based platform.

The very best in British television journalism has been honoured at the Royal Television Society Journalism Awards. Journalists, broadcasters and agencies competed in 17 categories for a coveted RTS award at a ceremony at the Hilton, in Park Lane, London, hosted by CNN International News Anchor Becky Anderson on 18 February.

Chernov is reporting on the Ukraine conflict since its inception. Particularly, he provided exclusive coverage of Shizhne’s airstrike and was one of the very first journalists documenting the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine. He regularly contributes as a videojournalist to the Associated Press and is main roster photographer at UnFrame.
