Unframe photographer Demetriades on NYTimes Lensblog

Alexandros Demetriades has been featured in the Lensblog of the New York Times with his long term work ‘Seeing contrasts along the two sides of Cyprus’ carried out during a 2 year journey around Cyprus.
Photographer Demetriades had the opportunity to travel several times, for a total of 22.000 miles in two years, back and forth from Nicosia, the emblematic capital which itself had been divided as a consequence of the events dated back in 1974.
He explored the north and south territories performing an emotional journey through the past, present and the future of a split country.click on the image to see the complete story on the NY times Lensblog Alexandros Demetriades on NYTimes Lensblog
