Dozens of miners are trapped underground and 30 feared dead after a suspected gas blast at a coal mine in a rebel-held region of east Ukraine, with rescuers saying the chance of finding many survivors was slim.
The mine is close to a front line where rebels have been battling Ukrainian government troops.
Zasyadko was the scene of the deadliest disaster, the worst in Ukraine’s history, happened 8 years ago, on November 18, 2007, killing 101 miners.
