Chernov + UnFrame for the Red Cross

A photo gallery titled Ukraine: “Ukrainian Red Cross first-aiders in action” dated Jan.-Feb. 2014 by Mstyslav Chernov has been published on the International Committee of the Red Cross ( ICRC ).

Chernov at that time was covering the events of the Maidan protests in Kiev, started back in November 2013. During the most dramatic and violent moments of Yanukovich’s repression, he documented a group of Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers who started providing first aid to people injured during the clashes and evacuating them from the danger zones.
