ALEXANDROS DEMETRIADES OF CYPRUS WAS AWARDED IN THE PX3 2013 COMPETITION.

PARIS, FRANCE PRIX DE LA PHOTOGRAPHIE PARIS (PX3) ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF PX3 2013 COMPETITION.

Alexandros Demetriades of Cyprus was Awarded in Professional category, Press – General News: for the entry entitled, “Color of Scars” and in Professional category, Press – Political, “Intemporality” repectively the Gold and Bronze Award. The jury selected winners from thousands of photography entries from over 85 countries.

City Streets, Country Roads exhibition

One of the images from the project “Intemporality” was also chosen to be in the City Streets, Country Roads exhibition at the PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.

In the honorary judging committee: Alex Webb from Magnum photos and Rebecca Norris Web.

The exhibition will be on view at the gallery from July 16th through August 10th, 2013. An artist’s reception, timed to coincide with the town of Middlebuy Arts Walk, will be held on August 9th from 5-7 pm.
