Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is one of the world’s biggest conurbation with an estimated population of more than 15 million people. It also bears the distinction of being the fastest-growing city in the world. Bangladesh has to face the challenges presented by an explosive urbanization which is difficult to handle and manage.
Internal and external connections of a massive metropolitan area have to be developed accordingly to the growth. However economic dynamism development is often preferred, at the expenses of the population liveability.
