Relatives, friends and soldiers mourn the eight murdered by the Ukraine army airstrike on Lugansk. Kiev has admitted showering Lugansk with dozens of missiles from the air.

Bloodiest Day in Mariupol
Ukraine’s security forces claimed to have killed 21 pro-Russian separatists in Mariupol. Media report a dead toll of 9 and 39 injured. After the “Victory Day” parade held to mark the defeat of the Nazis, took place one of the bloodiest military repression since the so called anti-terror operation’s inception. Ukraine’s troops surrounded the Mariupol police headquarters as the insurgents occupied Mariupol police headquarters. The army opened fire with heavy machine guns mounted on BMP armoured combat vehicles.

Victory Day celebration in Donetsk
Pro-Russian forces celebrate the Victory Day, the Soviet holiday commemorating the defeat of the Nazis. Sunday is May 11, the proposed date for the separatists’ referendum on greater autonomy for eastern Ukraine. Donetsk, Ukraine.
