Ukraine troops are pulling back heavy artillery from the front lines in the east of the country. The withdrawal follows the Feb 12 cease-fire agreement brokered in Minsk, although fighting still continued in the following days, in violation of the agreement. Convoys have been moving on Friday, with troops heading to new positions.

The crisis in Ukraine has been ongoing for more than a year now, with February 20th marking the anniversary of the crackdown on EuroMaidan and the mass killing of the “heavenly hundred”.
